At this stage of the season, one team sits as something of an outlier in the latest women's Division I Top 25.
Baylor cracks the rankings at No. 8 after advancing to the Elite Eight on Sunday with a 3-2 overtime win against Notre Dame. The Bears toppled USC on penalty kicks last Friday to advance to Sunday's game against the Irish.
Stanford maintains an ironclad grip on the No. 1 seed, and continues to look like the overwhelming favorite in the women's DI tournament.
